Our Story160 Years in the making

The Rose family has been farming in Marlborough for over 160 years. In 1978, Phil and Chris overcame strong opposition to secure consent to plant the first grapevines on the northern side of the Wairau Valley. Their belief that viticulture could succeed in Marlborough played an important role in the region's wine history.

Today, the next generation of our family is involved across the business. As we continue to grow, so too does our connection to the land and the family that has shaped it.

2026 Vintage

The 2026 Marlborough vintage will be remembered as one of those rare seasons where every stage of the growing season was nearly perfect.
